AUM Social Meditation
AUM Meditation, created by Veeresh, founder of Humaniversity, is an active social meditation, social because you will interact with other people, and active because your body will be driven beyond the limits imposed by your mind. This is based on awareness and understanding of our emotions. The structures of this meditation act as a “testing ground” for the process of expansion and growth in each of us. In order to achieve the silence and fullness of life, the Western mind needs to free itself from tensions and stress.
Throughout life, we repress our feelings, we are taught how to behave in society under so-called socially correct norms. Hence, emotions are repressed giving way to anguish, physical and mental illness.
In this way, AUM gives freedom of expression to interpret all our emotions, bringing back our spontaneity, honesty and relaxation in relationships with us and others.
Practice of AUM Meditation
Accompanied by music throughout the practice, the AUM Social Meditation goes through 14 stages, involving physical movements, emotions and social interaction with all participants. The stages of this meditation are intensely active and interactive, taking us on a journey to meet our inner selves.
During the process, we interact with others in an open way in a totally safe environment with the possibility of exploring various human behaviors, bioenergetic exercises, dancing and encounters.
Therefore with this practice, we’ll be able to transfer the experience into our daily life, cultivating a more honest and direct communication, based on feelings. The result is simple, better love and friendship. In the end, all we want is to love and be loved without any fear or constraints.
The benefits of AUM Meditation are limitless. By focusing on the release of physical and mental stress, the mind concentrates on feelings rather than thoughts. Thus, we become aware of the way we act with others and better observe our emotions. Vitality and relaxation are the basis for a serene and fulfilled life.

Stages of AUM Meditation
1. NEGATIVITY
It is, above all, at this stage that we expose all our negativity, frustrations and anger. The goal is to get closer to our emotions and consequently get closer to others. If we really want to get close to others, we need to put all our energy into this phase.
2. I’M SORRY IF I HURT YOU
When we relate to each other expressing honestly, we sometimes make mistakes and we can hurt others. However, this is much better than shutting up. We can always recognize the mistake and start by apologizing.
3. POSITIVITY
We express all the love and appreciation that exists in us for others. We feel refreshed when we express our love for others.
4. SECOND WIND
We feel a new physical energy, a lightness in the body at this stage. We experience real physical power and the possibility of going beyond our limits.
5. KUNDALINI ASCENT
We experience the whole body vibrating keeping the feet rooted to the ground and the eyes closed. We release all tensions in the body and throw away all physical and mental rigidity.
6. THE CUCOS NET
Move, breathe and make sound. Letting out everything we have inside to express. At this stage, we can be crazy without judgment. When we express our madness we stay healthy.
7. FREE DANCE
It’s time to celebrate and express pleasure from dance. We dance in a relaxed way, letting the body flow in free and spontaneous movements.
8. CRY
Crying helps the brain to change from feeling depressed to feeling well. We bring up situations that have left us unhappy in the past.
9. THE LAUGHTER OF BUDAS
We switch the energy to the opposite of the previous one and laugh until we can’t do it anymore. We focus on positive things. Being happy is our birthright.
10. DANCE OF LOVERS
The norm here is to dance and interact in a sensitive, sensual and sexy way.
11. THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE
In a circle, looking at the light of a candle in the center, we emit the AUM sound.
Sound is part of our meditation experiences. It is the sound of the universe. When we make the sound AUM, we are aware of our existence.
12.WOWING
We enjoy the moment as we sit with ourselves savoring nothing.
13.NAMASTE AND HUG
We thank and embrace the other members of this experience, in recognition of their support and presence during this intense and fantastic process.
